How do I get sponsored by local businesses, so that I can afford to go to an incredible program over summer?

I’ve been invited to attend a forum on medicine over the summer, since my grades are above average and because of my interest in science and medicine, but the tuition is a little under $3,000 (about $2,880 or something). My grandma is paying $1,000 and told me to find a way to find the rest (does she want me working corners? lol).

In addition, check with your school’s counselors who may be able to suggest other venues.

There are organizations in all towns across the country looking for opportunities to sponsor young people with outstanding references and likely being able to make significant contributions to their respective communities. When I was in business, I would work through the local PTA and PTO to screen for deserving youngsters. When my criteria were met, I made the final selections and those who qualified received scholarships. This was a wonderful experience for them, the schools and of course, me.

There are opportunities out there. Keep looking and always remember to ask others for their ideas and suggestions.
